5 things people will love about Nigeria.

Weather – The joy of waking up and seeing the sun is enough to want to live in Nigeria. The sun brings vibrancy to the country. Though during the rainy season the sky is downcast, still the sun comes out after the rain.

Creativity  Where can I start with Nigerian creativity; fashion, the film industry- (Nollywood), music? Taking Nollywood as an example, it is always a pleasure to sit and enjoy Nigerian creativity portrayed in movies on television. These movies also play a significant role in sending important messages to the public and reflecting on what happens within our society. Though many of these movies have simple plots, they minister to people from different walks of lives.

The impact of religious institutions  The government does not cater to the needs of the people. This has resulted in churches and mosques doubling up as welfare institutions by taking up the welfare of many, leading to these institutions acquiring a strong influence over many people within the society.

Food glorious food – Nigerian food is popular. You can enjoy a balanced meal conveniently because fresh food is cheap. Examples of healthy food enjoyed here are yams, green vegetables, sweet potatoes, beans, corn, millet & guinea corn-pap, assorted fruits etc.

The Culture – The culture in Nigeria is diverse though we are in one country. We rub off on each other in different ways; dressing, languages, varied diets and different beliefs.
